Marcel's started as a chimney cleaning business in 1965. Then became Marcel's Chimney & Air Duct Cleaning in 1978; the 1st company to provide air duct cleaning services in Connecticut, if not all of New England. In 1996 we became Marcel's of New England, going on our third generation of our family owned business. As specialists in the area, we boast numerous commercial as well as residential customers. Our objective is to provide quality service that is safe, affordable, and effective.
Marcel's Air Duct Cleaning is a family operated business, locally owned and managed, for fifty years. The company was started in 1965 by Marcel Gelinas. It has been owned and operated by Margaret and Garry Gelinas since 1978. Now it is in our 3rd generation and run by Kevin Gelinas. Starting as a chimney cleaning business, the company saw the need for cleaner air in the home and decided to expand their expertise. The process of cleaning air ducts in heating and cooling systems was thoroughly analyzed and after much research a unique method that guarantees to clean 100% of the system was established.

We have been awarded recognition in the 'Who's Who World Wide Registry of Business Leaders'. In 1985 we wrote the book on technique and specifications for air duct cleaning which was sold up and down the east coast.
